about

PSA is a tune from my sophomore album “Still Painting”. What people may not know is that PSA was originally recorded and released on my first album “A Painted Thought”. The original recording was produced by Law Beatz. I felt this song didn't receive as much attention as I think it should have so I started performing it at my live performances to create a buzz around it. I linked up with Vince Foss and we came up with a cool stripped down acoustic version to cut down on costs for reproduction. The acoustic version was beautiful so we decided to record the song again completely rewritten with Meagan McNeal as the vocalist and Moses Hall on piano. It was nothing shorter than amazing.

The new version easily became a fan favorite and is requested by others for me to perform. This was a moment where I stuck with my gut, believed in a song, and worked on it until supporters began to realize my vision with this tune. I followed through and now I have a record that is always relevant because the times of pain, unfairness, bigotry, hate and depression never seem to go away. We are a broken society and a broken people. Because of this brokenness, generations have come to adopt the same habits of their predecessors. My hope is that with this song love can be restored, and help usher in in change among us all.
